And while this keeps my finger on the pulse of the biggest trends of the moment, it also, unfortunately, means I’m constantly finding pieces I wish to add to my own collection. So, I’ve had to enact a strict budget—particularly when it comes to J.Crew.

The iconic retailer is home to some of this season’s most popular trends (including my favorite rollneck sweater), but with my pricier taste, I challenged myself to see if I could find items at Amazon that satisfied my cozy, luxurious interests—without blowing my travel budget. J.Crew excels at crafting high-quality staple pieces that are easy to layer with any outfit. While I would love to turn to the retailer for a simple, tailored white button-down to carry into the new year, I found an equally flattering option at Amazon for only $18—and it’s made from wrinkle-resistant material.
