An expenditure of about 2500 crores is estimated on the coronation. From the clothes of King Charles III to the gilded carriage and from the coronation throne to the king’s crown, everything is very important.

Many important rituals will be performed during the coronation of King Charles III. During this, the bells of Westminster Abbey will ring for 2 minutes. A 62-round gun salute will be given at the Tower of London. 21 rounds of gun salute will be given at 11 main places of UK. During this program, 6 thousand soldiers of the Royal Army will participate. Apart from this, 400 soldiers from 35 Commonwealth countries will also be present.

King Charles III’s attire includes a 2 KG gold sleeved coat, also known as the supertunica. This coat is 112 years old. It was also worn by Queen Elizabeth. It also has an 86 year old sword belt and a glove made of white leather. King Charles III will also wear a purple robe at the end of the coronation ceremony.

The ceremony related to the coronation of King Charles III will take place at Westminster Abbey, the historic royal church of London. The tradition of coronation of the king in Westminster Abbey has been going on for the last 1000 years. King Charles was married to Lady Diana in Westminster Abbey. Queen Elizabeth II was also crowned in Westminster Abbey in the year 1953.

With this coronation, King Charles III will become the head of the Church of England. Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh religious leaders will attend the coronation of King Charles III. In Britain, for the first time in the last 422 years, someone is being crowned in the month of May.

King Charles III will be crowned in the 700-year-old St Edward’s Chair. The coronation of 26 Maharajas of Britain has been done on the chair. The 700-year-old St. Edward’s Chair was built in the 13th century. The wood in this chair is plated with gold. Apart from this, gilded lions were also installed in the 16th century. In the year 1727, the lions were replaced by new lions.

Tourists could sit on the royal chair during the 18th century. The chair will remain in the middle of the hall during the coronation. During this, the King will be crowned with a crown weighing more than 2 kg.
