This Airline Just Turned Its Flights Into a U.S. Open Fan Experience—Complete With Honey Deuces and Live Match Streams

America’s favorite tennis event is officially back—and bigger than ever. In 2024, the U.S. Open hit a historic milestone, welcoming over one million fans to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens during the three-week tournament. And with the 2025 U.S. Open already breaking records for the highest-attended U.S. Open Fan Week, another thrilling year at the American Grand Slam is well underway.

There are plenty of ways to get in on the action, from standard grandstand tickets to interactive activations from American Express and Chase, along with fun pop-ups celebrating the sport. Arthur Ashe Stadium also features several exclusive hospitality suites, and we got a firsthand look at one of the most luxurious during opening night on Aug. 24.

Emirates, the official airline of the U.S. Open Grand Slam tournament, hosts a 1,358-square-foot suite that’s become one of the most coveted spots to watch the matches. This center-court suite—where celebrities like Clairo, Angela Kinsey, Connie Briton, and Chelsea Handler were spotted on opening night—highlights the airline’s premiere service and offers a taste of the amenities found in its upper-tier cabins.

Inside the suite, guests were treated to unlimited caviar served by an Emirates flight attendant—just like in their ultra-luxe first class—alongside Moet Champagne paired with canapés. And naturally, the iconic Honey Deuce cocktail, the U.S. Open’s signature boozy lemonade topped with honeydew melon balls, was also flowing as fans enjoyed the matches.

This signature hospitality is just one reason Travel + Leisure readers ranked Emirates as the world’s No. 3 international airline, earning it a place in the World’s Best Awards Super Hall of Fame list. And the airline’s presence at the U.S. Open extends beyond the suite. During the tournament, fans flying with Emirates can catch live U.S. Open matches on Sport 24, which is part of the airline’s in-flight entertainment system, along with tennis-theme films and documentaries.

Even the in-flight menu is getting a Grand Slam-inspired upgrade. Passengers flying between Dubai and select U.S. destinations can enjoy U.S. Open-theme dishes, which even include the beloved Honey Deuce. Emirates Skywards members can even redeem miles for the chance to attend one of tennis’ biggest events in person.

And if you’re heading to the U.S. Open this year, be sure to stop by the Emirates booth for a shot at winning a trip to Dubai so you can experience their world-class service yourself.
