French Jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels Has a New Collection

There’s no denying it: In 2026, we’re all a little obsessed with astrology—the intangible idea that we’re all being guided by our astral blueprint.

While some astrology enthusiasts emblazon their sun signs on Instagram bios, others go the permanent route, tattooing eternal odes to the celestial bodies on their actual bodies. Now, those who swear by the zodiac have the chance to wear their cosmic sign on their wrists, in the form of 18k white gold or 18k yellow gold bracelets.

The luxury French jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels recently launched 12 new pieces in its Zodiaque collection, which has been a signature of the brand since the 1950s. Every piece in the collection celebrates the symbolism of constellations, while emphasizing nature and astronomy. The newest additions are twelve white-gold bracelets with a medallion that illustrates Western Zodiac signs on one side, and their symbols and dates in Roman Numerals on the other.

Van Cleef & Arpels declares this the season to “adorn yourself with stars,” which is right on theme, as the brand has always had a soft spot for talismans. The maison has been making wearable charms and medals like lucky Alhambra clovers encrusted with Mother of Pearl bordered in 18K gold beads, whimsical open-winged ladybugs mid-flight, and diamond-encrusted butterflies for more than a hundred years. Devoted fans are as iconic as its designs, including Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco and American heiress Barbara Hutton.

“Van Cleef & Arpels has been deeply inspired by celestial movements and constellations since its foundation in 1906,” a spokesperson for Van Cleef & Arpels told Travel & Leisure. As early as the 1950s and especially in the 1970s, these pieces were often crafted in gold, sometimes adorned with precious or semi-precious stones.

Each piece is, as the Maison notes, “imbued with the story of their wearer,” designed to carry your sign with you on adventures near and far. Every medal is double-sided and made using the craft of stamping. After being shaped, the gold is finished to give the medals their shimmering patina. The motifs on the new pieces stand out on each side against the surface enhanced by a polish that makes them shine at full wattage. Each of the 12 zodiac signs are featured, including the Virgo portrayed by a young woman with a unicorn and Aquarius as a water bearer with a jug overflowing with whimsy. On the reverse side, there are symbols and dates in Roman numerals corresponding to each sign of the zodiac.

“The Zodiaque offers remarkable versatility, effortlessly complementing a wide range of styles, and ensuring these pieces are universally cherished and can be worn across generations,” Van Cleef & Arpels CEO Catherine Rénier told Travel & Leisure.

Other staples of the longstanding Zodiaque include men’s and women’s 18k white gold watches, set by hand in glimmering diamonds, and long pendant necklaces set against colorful malachite, sodalite, quartz, and turquoise.
