Elliott was a senior vice president at Old National Bank and a close friend of Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear. Barrick and Tutt were also senior vice presidents at the bank, while Farmer was a loan analyst. Officer Nickolas Wilt, who had recently graduated from the police academy, was among those injured and underwent brain surgery after being shot in the head. The shooting occurred during morning rush hour and was met with shock and grief by the community.

Deana Eckert, 57

According to a statement by Louisville Metro Police spokesman Aaron Ellis, Deana Eckert, who was an executive administrative officer at the bank and a graduate of Western Kentucky University, died on Monday night. She had been one of the eight people injured in the shooting that occurred earlier that day, which also resulted in the deaths of five others, including the shooter.
