Bagglini's Wallet Phone Case Is Perfect for Travel

I’m always the one to make the case to save something, whether it’s an old takeout menu, the box to an appliance I no longer use, an extra USB cord that came with a new set of headphones—you name it, it’s probably sitting in my junk drawer, which is where I mistakenly put my Baggalini On The Go Wallet Phone Case before realizing it’s the unlikely M.V.P. of my travel gear.

I received this nifty travel accessory as a gift last year and, even though I rarely ever change my phone case or stray from my go-to purse, I had a feeling I should hold onto in the event that I needed a phone crossbody bag—and I was right to keep it.

It’s come in handy on international trips, weekend getaways, farmers’ market strolls, and several other occasions when I’ve wanted to keep my valuables close without carrying a big bag. Most recently, it saved the day when I bought last-minute tickets to a concert; the venue had a clear bag policy and the Baggalini On The Go Wallet Phone Case met all the requirements while ensuring I had a safe place to store my phone, ID, credit card, and even my house key (I fastened it to the crossbody strap clip that attaches to the case—genius, I must say).

Immediately, I was impressed by the durability of the phone case. It’s designed to easily snap on and off, but this flexibility doesn’t compromise its protectiveness (and I say this as someone who exclusively uses tough cases because I’m prone to dropping my phone). This, combined with the crossbody strap, gives me peace of mind that my iPhone 15 will be secure when navigating busy streets, crowded venues, and wherever else my travels bring me.

On the back of the Baggalini On The Go phone case is the wallet, which is tightly fixed on it and doesn’t budge. Though it adds a little bulk, it doesn’t make it any harder to grab your phone; you still get a strong and comfy grip around it. The wallet unfolds to reveal four RFID-blocking card slots and is lined with a silky smooth fabric that makes it easy to access your credit cards and IDs (you can even fit cash in there if needed).

I will admit, at first, letting my phone dangle off my shoulder took some getting used to. However, if that’s not your style, the phone crossbody is still incredibly useful if you don’t wear it as a crossbody or around your neck. In recent months, phone lanyards have become a popular accessory among travelers as they prevent pickpockets and thieves from grabbing their smartphones from their hands. With the crossbody strap attached, you get the anti-theft benefits of a phone lanyard if you wrap it around your wrist, which I like to do if I’ll be taking several photos.
