Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan is unlikely to be released from prison. 108 cases are going on against Imran in his own country. Pakistani police arrested him on the evening of Tuesday, May 9, from the Islamabad High Court in the Al Qadir Trust scam on the orders of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). A day after that, Imran was convicted in another case. Now he can also be sentenced in the Toshakhana case. At the same time, there has been a ruckus all over Pakistan on the arrest of Imran. Violence is happening everywhere. Army had to be deployed to handle the situation.

According to officials of Pakistan’s National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Imran Khan was produced in a special court last day, from where he has been sent on remand for 8 days. The bail application filed by Imran’s lawyer has been rejected. This means- Imran will not be able to come out.

Imran Khan Arrested will not be released from imprisonment now

Imran’s supporters allege that their leader was forcibly arrested, while he had reached the High Court seeking bail. Imran’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has called Imran’s arrest illegal. However, the High Court has upheld Imran’s arrest. Now Pakistani’s statement has also come on his arrest.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, justified Imran’s arrest citing the statement of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the law. ISPR said that after the arrest of Imran Khan, his supporters raised anti-army slogans, attacked army properties and establishments. We will not spare those people by whom the army is being called traitors. It was said on behalf of the Pak Army that we have identified the culprits. Now they will be given a befitting reply.

Pakistan burns, 15 people killed in violent clashes
According to the reports in the Pakistani media, protests are now taking place in every city of Pakistan. After the arrest of Imran, many places were vandalized in the capital Islamabad. It is being told that 15 people have died in violent clashes with security forces of Imran supporters. Many army soldiers are injured, they have been admitted to the hospital.
