According to a statement by Louisville Metro Police spokesman Aaron Ellis, Deana Eckert, who was an executive administrative officer at the bank and a graduate of Western Kentucky University, died on Monday night. She had been one of the eight people injured in the shooting that occurred earlier that day, which also resulted in the deaths of five others, including the shooter.

Michael Williams, who identified himself as her uncle, posted on Facebook that she had recently moved to Louisville for a good job opportunity.
