United Nations meeting, Dmitry Polinsky, the representative of Russia, spoke in support of India and criticized the government of Ukraine for their lack of respect towards various religious faiths. Polinsky condemned the actions of Ukrainian soldiers who were reported to have burned the Quran, mocked the revered deity Maa Kali, and destroyed holy places of the Orthodox Christian community. He went on to state that the government’s actions suggest a belief in Nazi ideology, showing a complete disregard for the sentiments of the people of different faiths. His comments highlight the importance of religious tolerance and respect in promoting peace and unity.

Government of Ukraine apologized

this is the whole matter
It was a matter of two-three days back. On April 30, a tweet by @DefenceU, the official Twitter handle of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, shared two images, depicting a plume of smoke rising from an explosion as Maa Kali. However, what was the purpose behind such a tweet, it is beyond comprehension. Following the objectionable post of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Twitter, numerous individuals took to the social media platform to express their outrage and disappointment.

Many Twitter users condemned the post, calling it an insult to Kali Maa, a revered Hindu goddess. Furthermore, a significant number of people called on Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, to take strict action against the Ukrainian handle responsible for the offensive content. This incident highlights the power of social media in bringing attention to sensitive issues and holding individuals and organizations accountable for their actions.
