That shell cuts through wind, repels water, and blocks stains, making it super easy to wipe clean. Reviewers have worn them while hiking on glaciers, skiing in 25-mph winds, and shoveling the driveway in 14.5 inches of snow, rating them five stars for warmth and water resistance.

Customers—including one self-described “quality snob”—are consistently impressed by the performance. “These pants kept me warm and dry in -7-degree weather,” wrote a reviewer who packed them on a trip to Alaska. Someone who works at a ski area in the Pacific Northwest said, “I wear these everyday and they are fantastic.
