2025 marked a pivotal year for Kraken’s expansion across Europe, building local teams, operating within clear regulatory frameworks, launching new products and strengthening strategic partnerships throughout the region.

With MiCA and MiFID providing regulatory clarity, Kraken advanced innovation while remaining anchored to our core principles: security, trust and a long-term commitment to the crypto ecosystem.

As a regulated platform investing locally, Kraken is proud to serve Europe as a truly local crypto partner.

To close out the year, we took that commitment on the road with our 2025 Celebration Tour, connecting directly with our community in Riga, Lisbon, Dublin, Warsaw and Frankfurt. There’s no substitute for meeting our users in person and celebrating the progress we’ve made together:

2025 was a defining year for Kraken in Europe — marked by meaningful expansion, regulatory progress and deeper connections with our local communities. As we continue to invest across the region, we remain focused on building secure, compliant and innovative crypto products that serve Europe for the long term.

And while this year represented an important milestone, it’s only the beginning. With strong momentum behind us, Kraken is just getting started in Europe — much more to come in 2026.
